Techservices (North East) Ltd is fully conversant with the latest legislation regarding cranes and ancillary equipment. It is ideally suited to supply refurbishment reports/specifications and independent inspections, including statutory inspections covering all disciplines structural, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic.

We also provide damage assessment reports together with major repair solutions and provide expertise/support to insurance companies as the need arises. 

Techservices (North East) Ltd. Was originally formed in June 1979 by partners who were formerly part of the design management team of Vickers Ltd Crane Division, Manufacturers of Paceco Vickers Cranes under licence.  

The partners started their business as consultants and suppliers of spare parts to Port Authorities, becoming involved in inspection work soon afterwards. 

The company has substantially developed and expanded its services and its client base, and now operates on both a national and international basis supplying these services to a broad range of clients in both the public and private sectors. 

We are currently performing inspection of lifting equipment, both powered and non-powered, primarily in the Ports of the United Kingdom and other blue chip companies. Other inspection work being carried out is of air receiver pressure vessels and low voltage electrical installations, building and steel structures. The electrical installations being part of the powered lifting equipment or transit shed type buildings.  These inspections are performed to ISO 17020 Quality and we are working toward BS17020. 

Our Manufactured procedures include fabricated and machined products produced to ISO 9001:2000 Quality System.  Many fabrications are bespoke, built to suit arduous operating conditions and suited to the customers need.
